I see no ships, only hardships - Admiral Lord Nelson

Lord Nelson defeated Napoleon Bonaparte both convincingly and effortlessly on October 21, 1805, at the Battle of Trafalgar.  He was shot aboard the HMS Victory and was still delivering instructions to his crew when he died off the coast of Spain.

Many countries on the continent fell during the Napoleonic Wars, and the odds at the time appeared to favour the French army.  Largely because of Lord Nelson's fearless and unbelievable naval strategy, not a single British ship was destroyed during the battle.  The Royal Navy were outnumbered by approximately twenty-five percent.

Half-Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson, what a hero!.
